Out of Home Campaign for the City of Chicago, 2019, Graphic Designer
Celebrating Chicago’s diverse theater scene across its many neighborhoods - each ad features real artists and performers as well as highlights local theaters. Utilizing a distinctive typographic motif, the Year of Chicago Theatre campaign was applied to billboards, bus stops, trash cans and print ads.
I designed an animated logotype (simulating a curtain closing) that could be recognized through bright colors and bold forms from long distances. The playful look promotes Chicago’s diversity in theatre offerings throughout each neighborhood of the city.
